Canal Walks

The towpath along most of the length of the Trust’s section of the canal, between Tamar Lake and just a few yards short of the Aqueduct Bridge over the River Tamar, is all Public Footpath, a total of approximately 4½ miles. The remaining ½ mile which the Trust owns beyond this point is a permissive path.

The tranquility of the path and the rural scenery with the wildlife and flowers make for an enjoyable walk.
