Bude Canal Trust Bar-b-que
Bude Canal Trust Events
Despite the frost and cold conditions, about 30 cubs and parents/helpers came to Lower Tamar Lake for an activity morning. The cubs were first asked to do a Photo Find game. Then each sis had to do an Eye Spy activity along the tow-path to Virworthy Wharf. Once there they were given the chance to try the difference between trying to transport heavy items by just dragging them, or floating them on water, like the canals did. The cubs had been busy making nest boxes at their cub meetings and these were presented to the Trust to be put up along the canal. The morning finished with very welcome hot chocolate and hotdogs.
