Bude Canal Trust Open Day
Following the 1/2 year meeting in the morning, the Canal Trust annual open day was held at Pancrasweek Viallage hall. With numerous stalls and displays from members of the Partnership there was plenty for visitors to enjoy. We had a good steady flow of locals, and visitors, calling in through the day. This is a great opportunity for people to learn more about other groups that we are involved with and of course, about the work of the Trust as well. It was also an opportunity for photo calls for the local paper of cheques being presented to us from local councillors. These are such a welcome form of support at a time when funding can be so difficult.
